Shortly before the first match of each gameweek kicks off. The exact time is shown on Pick Team and Transfers, and once it passes your team for that gameweek is locked.
One each gameweek. Unused ones carry over, up to 5 at a time. Each transfer beyond your free ones costs 4 points, taken from your score for the next gameweek. Playing a Wildcard or Free Hit makes that gameweek's transfers free and does not use up the ones you have saved.
He is replaced automatically by the first player on your bench, in bench order, who played and keeps your formation valid. Your goalkeeper can only be replaced by your substitute goalkeeper.
Your vice-captain's points are doubled instead. If neither plays, nobody's points are doubled.
Prices are decided by transfers in and out: when enough managers buy a player his price rises at the next price change, and when enough sell him it falls. Price Changes shows how the next one stands, and when it happens.
You keep half of any rise since you bought him, rounded down to 0.1. If his price has fallen, you sell at the lower price. The figure on Transfers is what you would receive.
You have one Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain in each half of the season — gameweeks 1–14 and 15–28. A chip not played in the first half is lost. Only one chip can be played in a gameweek.
Up to 3, within a squad budget of $100.0m.
Each match's players are scored by the Bonus Points System from their match statistics. The best three receive 3, 2 and 1 bonus points. Bonus is provisional until the match is over.
